MORE ABOUT THE WOMAN BEHIND BTEXTURED

Bridget H. Love, EdD is an administrator in a local government agency, and a community college professor with a background in government, community corrections and higher education. Her cross-disciplinary research interests center on the questions, "Who is telling the story? and What is being said?, as a way to curate and custodian the experiences of Black women.

Women are natural curators, otherwise known as the wombs of the world. Self-exploration and curation is at the heart of living textured.

Dr. Love's scholarship and advocacy is revealed in the research on the intersections of identity, gender and race as they interplay in society and work to inform one-another. Drawing from multiple disciplines: communication, economics, psychology and culture she sees the world without conventional restraints - as it could be without colorblindness, the pillars of white supremacy and overall greed.
